If the Telecom Companies can build
the Technology as amazingly as they do, then there is with the health concerns facing our civilisation
(and civilization) the reason why they should address the cellphone radiation concerns and therein
our health concerns: We as a Community must be vigilant in
our support (buying power) and thus encourage them achieve this Technology: WE MUST HELP THEM. PLEASE for the sake of our Health and for the leading edge competitiveness
for our Telecom companies keep applying pressure to demand CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

In an Interview within the above
cited report the Interviewee: Mrs. Marks comments; "Thankfully we have had a lot of honest, excellent
media coverage over the past couple of years. Hopefully the same will be true this Thursday night. I do believe
industry is getting nervous and if they sent their best to represent them in Maine they are in trouble. When
asked by Maine legislators they could not answer why their own cell phone users manuals say that in order to meet FCC guidelines
the phone MUST be held away from the head and body. The industry reps said they would ”get back to
them” about that. We did hear industry was threatening a lawsuit if the warning label passes."

OFF WITH THIS "GET BACK TO THEM" COMMENT: IN SALES SUCCESS IS SO OFTEN DETERMINED BY THE

The National Cell Phones and Disease Sept 26 2010
This is a really good CBC report on mobile phones. The reporter investigates
the user guides [did you know that the user guide of most mobile phones requires you to keep it 5/8" from your body at
all times] and the Canadian regulatory framework.Also an interview with Debra Davis, who comes across as a measured and thoughtful
scientist.
Please take the time to review the video [10 minutes] To
the right is a letter that was sent to members of parliamentary review panel for microwave radiation. This
review started in June because there has been so many complaints about Health Canada's inaction in this area. Again,
the letter is worth reading because it highlights how ridiculous inaction is.

Committee members, Attached is a manual for the Motorola cellphone, model 120e. Beginning at page 152, there is quite explicit
information indicating “The available science does not allow us to conclude that mobile phones are absolutely safe."The Guide goes on to list several studies showing that wireless phones can have
negative consequences for the user's health. For example, "A few studies, however, have suggested that low levels of
RF could accelerate the development of cancer in laboratory animals. In one study, mice genetically altered to be predisposed
to developing one type of cancer developed more than twide as many cancers when they were exposed to RF energy compared to
controls."
In addition to the statements about studies with laboratory animals, the
Guide provides statistics about effects of RF on humans. "When tumors did exist in certain locations, however, they were
more likely to be on the side of the head where the mobile phone was used." And "that... an association was found
between mobile phone use and one rare type of glioma, neuroepithellomatous tumors."
And finally, on page 156, a startling admission: "Under the law, FDA does not review the safety of radiation-emitting consumer products such as mobile phones before
marketing, as it does with new drugs or medical devices." Neither does Health Canada nor Industry Canada.
Does not this evidence that the cell phone industry is aware of potential
harm, call for, at the very minimum, a public warning in the form of a label attached to every wireless device?
I find it shameful that the industry itself is being more responsible than
Health Canada. Where Motorola is at least admitting that evidence exists indicating harm is possible, everyone at Health
Canada and the Royal Society (e.g. Dr. Daniel Krewski) continue to maintain the opposite. Quoting Beth Pieterson and Dr. Krewski,
"There is no evidence of harm." It is apparent that Health Canada serves no purpose as far as protecting the public
is concerned.

A Cell Phone is a useful
device to have in case of an emergency. 5 Things You Never KnewYour Cell Phone Could Do: (Good information to have with you in your car, purse, and
wallet.) There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your
cell phone or mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency
tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:
- Emergency: The Emergency
Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find Yourself out of the coverage
area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile
will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly,
this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.
- Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:
If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home from your cell phone. Hold your cell
phone about a foot From your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone
on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could
be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors
(or the trunk).
- Hidden Battery Power:
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell
phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This
reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.
- How to disable a STOLEN cell phone or mobile phone?
To check your cell phone or mobile phone ' s serial number, key in the following
digits on your phone:*#06#.A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down
and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them
this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally
useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If
everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing cell phones or mobile phones.
- Free Directory Service for Cells: Cell phone companies are
charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry
a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information
option, simply dial:(800) FREE411, or (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all.
